I've been to many of these places over the years pretty regularly and the rating/ranking has been consistent.
1) Amarin Thai - Top Buzz and 90+% popularity
2) Krung Thai - ( Walmart complex Near San Antonio Rd) - High Buzz and popular
3) King of Krung Siam - Castro Street - Medium buzz and 80+% popularity
4) Bangkok Spoon - Haven't been here in a while, so check out reviews and latest ratings
5) Thai Garden - In Palo Alto pretty close to San Antonio Rd - Not as much buzz but folks seem to love it.
